Bible Study

From its beginnings, RBC's primary focus has been teaching the Scriptures. Originally starting out as transcripts of Dr MR de Haan's sermons, the Discovery Series of booklets developed to cover a broader range of topics that would inform and encourage members.

Today RBC Ministries has more than 200 booklets on topical issues, from counselling concerns to Christian living and explanations of key spiritual principles. These booklets are distributed worldwide and are often used as Bible study aids. The Discovery Series includes several international language and large print editions, and the booklets are all available for download on the RBC Website.

The Discovery Series offer a unique approach to helping people examine and understand topics that can sometimes seem intimidating or heavy. Because of the concise nature of the 32-page booklets, as well as the easy to read format, people are more likely to read them from cover to cover than a full-length book. They are also pocket-sized.

As a natural development of the Discovery Series in recent years we have developed a Bible Study line to provide Pastors and leaders with material to help them discipline and teach Christians through the use of the Discovery Series content. This DSBS series combines questions about the biblical text with Discovery Series content to help Christians understand the Bible more clearly. Each study guide is designed to be equally effective in a range of settings, including personal Bible Study, one-to-one discipling relationships, small group Bible studies, adult Sunday school classes, adult Bible fellowships, men's and women's study groups, or church-wide applications.
